Iabsis is proud to announce that HCW@Home has been selected as part of the Code for GovTech (C4GT) 2025 mentoring program, an international initiative designed to strengthen open-source projects that deliver public value.
Even before the program’s official start, the impact has been tangible:
- More than 20 new contributors have expressed interest in the project.
- Over a dozen early pull requests have already been submitted.
Work has begun on real-time messaging, improved mobile consultation flows, and notification systems — all critical for frontline healthcare delivery.
These contributions go beyond minor fixes. They are helping HCW@Home move closer to production-readiness, ensuring that healthcare professionals in underserved regions can rely on a secure, scalable, and open-source teleconsultation platform.
We would like to recognize the commitment of the program coordinators and mentors — Olivier Bitsch (Iabsis), Gor Grigoryan, Tanishk Verma, and Tobias Kuster — whose guidance and support are making this collaboration possible.
As a recognized Digital Public Good, HCW@Home continues to grow thanks to initiatives such as C4GT, proving once again that open collaboration can drive meaningful innovation in digital health.
